Behavioral Health Counseling

There are various agencies that provide services to families requiring behavioral health counseling.

AHCCCS

Contracts with Regional Behavioral Health Authorities (RBHA's), to have a network of providers, clinics and other appropriate facilities and services to deliver behavioral health services to eligible members in their contracted geographic service area. You can apply online or call 1-800-654-8713.

Community Info and Referral (211)

Serves as Arizona's key source of integrated information that brings people and services together to meet vital needs. In the area of mental health, information and referrals are given in anger management, counseling issues, suicide prevention, support groups for mental health issues, warm lines and hotlines, locating AA meetings, landlord issues and services for children in crisis. Dial 211 within Arizona or 1-877-211-8661 outside Arizona.   

Crisis Response Network (Maricopa Crisis Line)

A full array of telephone and other crisis services are available to any individual or family who may be experiencing a behavioral health emergency 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call at (602) 222-9444 or 1-800-631-1313. 

Magellan

Provides behavioral health service to recipients and their families, providers, advocates and community members with information and resources related to the Maricopa County Regional Behavioral Health Authority. Helps direct recipients to provider network organizations (PNO's), out-patient counseling, possible in-home behavioral assistance, and medication monitoring.Call 1-800-564-5465.
