Dear Union ESD Pooled Testing Families,
Thank you for doing your part to keep our schools open and our community healthy by having your child participate in COVID pooled testing.
Sadly, our testing partners have encountered additional delays with delivery of rapid tests that we use for follow-up testing. This means we will not be able to conduct pooled testing the week of Jan. 31, 2022. We apologize for the change. Unfortunately, COVID spread is HIGH and the demands for tests is so large at this time that suppliers can not keep up.
Will pooled testing start again?
Yes, we plan to resume voluntary pooled testing on February 7, 2022, unless supply issues continue.
What if my child is symptomatic or sick with COVID symptoms?
Keep your child home, contact your school, and get them testing. We are able to offer rapid tests for all symptomatic students and staff.
You can also seek outside testing for your entire family by visiting www.gogettested.com. It will take between 24-72 hours to get the results from those tests. There is also testing 24 hours daily at Veterans Park, 8601 W. Van Buren, Tollleson, AZ.
Thank you again for your support and dedication to keeping your family and others safe. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we are working to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
