The Union Elementary School District offers a variety of before and after school programing options.

Before School Services

Union Elementary School District provides before school tutoring and homework support at Dos Rios and Hurley Elementary School through the 21st Century Program.

Dos Rios begins at 7 am and Hurley Ranch begins at 7:15.

Through a partnership with the YMCA, Union Elementary School District is offering licensed morning childcare at the Union Elementary School campus. The program operates M-F from 6:30-8:15 am. This is a fee-based program, and financial assistance is available.

Registration is open to school age children enrolled at Union Elementary and Hurley Ranch Elementary. To register, fill out the registration packet and turn it in to your child's school.

After School Services

Union Elementary School District provides academic and enrichment opportunities for all students. In this program students have an opportunity to work on homework, get tutoring support and engage in arts and crafts. The 21st Century after school program provides an array of classes for all ages. 21st Century runs for 2 hours after the traditional school day.

YMCA and Union Elementary School District offer licensed afterschool childcare at the Union Elementary School campus. The program operates M-F from the end of the school day until 6 pm. This is a fee-based program, but financial assistance is available. Registration is open to school age children enrolled at Union Elementary and Hurley Ranch Elementary. To register, fill out the registration packet and turn it in to your child's school.

City of Phoenix PAC Program and Union Elementary School District offers low-cost afterschool childcare at the Hurley Ranch and Dos Rios School campus. The program operates M-F from the end of the school day until 6 pm. This is a fee-based program, that costs $40 per quarter per child. Registration is open to school age children enrolled at Union Elementary and Hurley Ranch Elementary. More information and registration is available at http://phoenix.gov/parks/pac.

All afterschool programs offer carefully planned, well-supervised activities for enrolled students. The many opportunities offered through the program are designed to interest your child and to foster his/her emotional well-being and social, physical, and critical thinking skills.
